Chief Operating Officer

The COO is a key member of the iPatientAxis senior management team. They will oversee the organization’s ongoing operations and process improvement initiatives. This role is responsible for maintaining control of diverse business operations, so we expect this person to be an experienced and efficient leader, have excellent people skills, business acumen and an exemplary work ethic.

The goal of the COO position is to secure the functionality of business to drive extensive and sustainable growth for a dynamic and quickly expanding corporation.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement operational business strategies, plans and procedures
• Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
• Establish processes and policies that promote company culture and vision
• Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
• Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
• Write and submit reports to the President in all matters of importance
• Assist CEO in fundraising ventures
• Actively participate in expansion activities (due diligence, investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.)
• In partnership with President and CEO, manage relationships with partners/vendors

Requirements

• Proven experience as Chief Operating Office or relevant role
• Entrepreneurial experience
• Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing etc.
• Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
• Experience in fundraising will be a plus
• Exceptional knowledge of data analysis and performance/operational metrics
• International operations experience
• Experience working in highly regulated environment
• Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and MS Office
• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and public speaking skills
• Aptitude in decision-making and hands on problem-solving
• BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field required; MSc/MBA is a plus

Clinical Data Scientist

* Candidates for this position have formal education in clinical informatics, computer science, and/or data science
* Experience with ICD-10, SNOMED, LOINC, CPT-4 and others are used in the context of analytics and data quality, and can query repositories of data using a variety of vocabularies
* Candidates must be able to retrieve and manipulate data from various data sources such as common file formats (e.g. SAS, CSV, and Excel), relational databases (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle), and APIs (e.g. XML web services)

Developer/ Team Lead

Essential Job Duties:

In this position, you will have the opportunity to work on front-end web apps and back end systems that are uniquely integrated and customized. Using the full stack of Microsoft technologies, in the .NET framework with C# on the Azure platform, you will be part of a team developing business applications that help physicians and researchers find needed clinical trial participants more efficiently and effectively.

Your work efforts on our iPatientAxis site deployment projects will help patients around the country have faster access to much needed therapeutic alternatives.  Together with the iPatientAxis team you will write processes to perform integrations and enhance our existing application suite. Experience with Microsoft Azure, IIS and MSMQ is preferred.

 

  • Based on industry and technology experience, use Voice of Customer, industry trend analysis and external insight to advance, promote and enable iPatientAxis platforms to be leading technologies for patient identification and recruitment
  • Working effectively as part of IT team, develop strategies for capturing, maintaining and visualizing patient and partner data for internal and external use
  • As part of effective change control team, evaluate all change requests for system impact and risk mitigation
  • Effectively communicate system status
  • Provide technical expertise to members of IT team relative to system development and change requests
  • Appropriately document all work products
  • Upgrades technology by conferring with vendors; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements.
  • Meets financial requirements by submitting information for budgets; monitoring expenses.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

  • BS in Computer Science, will consider AAS with 5+ years experience, Master’s degree desirable.
  • 3 or more years application development experience with increasing responsibility.

  • Pharmaceutical/ Regulated industry experience a plus

Full Stack Developer

In this position, you will have the opportunity to work on front-end web apps and back end systems that are uniquely integrated and customized. Using the full stack of Microsoft technologies, in the .NET framework with C# on the Azure platform, you will be part of a team developing business applications that help physicians and researchers find needed clinical trial participants more efficiently and effectively. Your work efforts on our PiP site deployment projects will help patients around the country have faster access to much needed therapeutic alternatives. Together with the PatientiP team you will write a processes to perform integrations and enhance our existing application suite. Experience with Microsoft Azure, IIS and MSMQ is preferred but not required.
